COSPLAY POST: Wig Reviews

For a cosplayer, choosing a wig for their chosen character may be a tough choice especially for picky people like myself. It didn't make it easier that different wig brands have their own quirks, so it solely depends on the person's tastes and budget what wig brand they want to choose.

I have been cosplaying for almost five years now and had my fair share of wig experiences. I also experienced people asking me for wig choosing tips and what brand would be good for them. I had my fair share of wig disappointments as well, and so since a couple of friends of mine requested me to do so, I'll do a mini review of the wig brands that I have experience of using.

Take note that this is based on my personal view. Other people might think otherwise.

Jiuwihu Wig Review

Jiuwihu is one of the new wig brands that have been seen out at online shops. It is relatively cheaper than other famous brands like Grand Young and Fantasy Sheep, hence making it rather tempting for consumers and customers. However, the question was is the quality good? Will it be worth the buy? I needed a new wig for a cosplay so I decided to "gamble" and try this wig out.

To be honest, I have seen some other reviews for this wig but decided to make one myself. Hope it helps other cosplayers/consumers/customers. More under the cut~

Nichido BeautyCake and Nyx Circe Lipstick

It's been a while since I last blogged about makeup. My last one was... way last year... Haha! I wanted to make a blog or a product review about this one, but I haven't gotten the time. Been way too busy with work training and stuff. But anyway, I finally got a day off for this one. Haha!

Mac Cream foundation in NC25

Just this morning, my mom came home from the states, and she actually bought me mac~

So anyway, this was my haul from yesterday...

I've always wanted to buy Etude House's Dream On Foundation but never had enough cash... which was why I was ecstatic when my dad wanted to buy it for me. However, since it was a WANT and not a NEED, I insisted that I pay for half. So anyway, my lil sis helped me out in choosing a lip color. It's light pink and not too shimmery but not matte either.

I was excited to use them~ haha

It's a late blog post since this shoot was done last month, but... oh well haha~ It was my first time cosplaying as Kagamine Len, with Gachi as Kagamine Rin, Joby as Kaito-sensei, and Daddy Erving and Tin as our photographers. We actually started quite late and had equipment problems (ehemTinehem), but we were able to work it out haha~

It was a really hot day and we were seriously melting...!
